Clyde Iron Works is seeking Bartenders to join our team. This high-profile position is important as it represents Clyde to our guests. Clyde bartenders provide accurate, timely, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests. An individual successful in this position is energetic, enjoys entertaining, is welcoming, and efficient. Knowledge of the food and beverage menu is critical for making recommendations and anticipating the needs of guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bartender duties include but are not limited to:

• Complete detailed to-do lists
• Work and communicate with serving staff
• Check guest IDs to confirm they meet the legal drinking age
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage menu items
• Record drink orders into register system
• Accept and process guest payments
• Receive and serve food items to guests seated at the bar; occasionally serve tables
• Maintain inventory and bar supplies, keep a well stocked and clean bar area
• Give knowledgeable drink suggestions
• Open/close bar at the beginning/end of the day

SKILLS:

• Restaurant and bar experience required
• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
• Ability to adapt easily in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
• Work well under pressure
